Biography

Steven is a Business Information Security Senior Manager at Cognizant. His role is to proactively and reactively manage cyber security and risk for client engagements. He has also earned the Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC) and Certified in Cyber Security (CC) certifications from ISC2. Steven moved to Cyber Security in March 2024 after five years as a Senior Learning Executive in Learning and Development at Cognizant.

Steven's earlier ICT career covered education, research or industry since 2001. His education work included higher education and vocational sectors including roles of lecturer, head tutor, tutor, lab demonstrator and trainer. His research and publications covered broad fields such as search engines, information retrieval, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing and education. He also had two industry roles in web development and holds other industry certifications in C#, Java, Python, cloud, scrum and web development.
